🍴 Hey there, foodie friends! 🌟 I'm back with part 3 of my "Takeaway at Home" series, and today we're whipping up a super Easy Sweet and Sour Chicken! Trust me, your taste buds are in for a treat! 🍍🐔

Ingredients
  

👩‍🍳 Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken thighs bite-sized
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 1 capsicum diced
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 can pineapple chunks keep the juice!
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp crushed ginger
🥣 Sauce:
  • Juice from the pineapple can
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Method
 

  1. Whisk all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  2. In a hot pan, sizzle garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  3. Add chicken, cook until white.
  4. Toss in veggies and pineapple chunks, cook until veggies just starting to soften!  About 2 minutes!
  5. Pour in the sauce, stir and bring to a boil. Let it boil for a minute.
  6. 🍚 Serve this saucy, sweet, and tangy delight with some fluffy steamed rice and get ready to be wowed! It's a perfect balance of flavors that'll make you forget about takeout!
