Ingredients

For the Muffins:
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups natural yoghurt
  • 1 cup oil
For the Icing:
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180Β°C and line a muffin tin with cases.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, yoghurt, and oil until smooth.
  3. Add the self-raising flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, milk chocolate chips, and dark chocolate chips. Stir until just combined – don’t overmix!
  4. Fill the muffin cases until they are 3/4 full.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While the muffins are baking, make the icing. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the cream and dark chocolate chips for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth and let it cool.
  7. Once the muffins and icing are cool, spread the icing generously on top of each muffin.
  8. Enjoy these decadent treats with a cup of coffee, or take them to your next gathering and watch them disappear! πŸŽ‰
