In a bowl, mix together onion, potato, garlic, tomato paste, fennel seeds, bread crumbs, your choice of meat, and a dash of salt and pepper.
Take about 2 tbsp of the meat mix, flatten it, and place a mozzarella ball in the center. Cover the ball with meat and roll it into a meatball.
Repeat until all your mixture is used.
Brown the meatballs in a hot frying pan with oil.
Once browned, pour in the wine, tomato passata, and water. Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then cover with a lid.
Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Serve with your favorite bread, pasta, rice, veggies, or salad. Enjoy!
