Whipping cream is one of those super simple things that can take your desserts to the next level. Whether you’re topping a cake, adding it to hot choccy, or just diving in with a spoon (I won't judge 😉), here's how you can make it perfect every time.

Ingredients
  

  • 600 ml cold cream
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • A splash of vanilla

Method
 

  1. Pop everything into a bowl and grab your electric mixer.
  2. Start whipping on medium speed. Keep your eye out for ribbons forming in the cream – that’s your sign it’s whipped!
  3. It only takes a few minutes. If you want it thicker, just whip it a bit longer, but watch out! Overdoing it can turn your cream into butter 🧈... but that’s a lesson for another day!
