Ingredients
  

  • 250 g butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet salty biscuits Salada
  • 2 packets chocolate chips or 2 blocks of chocolate
  • Easter-style decorations think colorful sprinkles, mini eggs, or whatever tickles your fancy!

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (390°F).
  2. In a saucepan, melt together the butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and let it bubble for 1 minute. Then, add the salt and stir well.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lay out a layer of salty biscuits to cover the bottom.
  4. Pour the hot caramel mixture over the biscuits, spreading it evenly.
  5. Pop the tray in the oven for 5 minutes. The caramel will bubble up and get all cozy with the biscuits!
  6. Pop your chocolate in the microwave for 2 mins to melt.
  7. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to spread the melted chocolate over the caramel layer. Now's the time to unleash your inner artist and decorate with your Easter-style toppings!
  8. Let your masterpiece cool in the fridge until the chocolate sets. Once it's firm, break it into pieces, and voilà! Your Easter Crack is ready to be devoured!
