Hey, fabulous foodies! 🍴 Ever wanted to create magic with just 5 ingredients? Today, I bring you a drool-worthy Dark Chocolate Chilli Tart. It's got the charm of sweet, a touch of salty, and a surprising kick of spicy chilli. Yes, all of that! 😋🍫🌶️

Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet of Maria or similar biscuits
  • 125 g soft or melted butter
  • 600 g chocolate or your choice
  • 300 g cream
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Optional add ins to stir through chocolate.
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup toasted nuts
  • zest of 2 oranges or 3 mandarin

Method
 

  1. First, blend the Maria biscuits to a crumb. Add the soft butter and 1 tsp of salt, then mix it in to get a biscuity dough.
  2. Now, press this mixture into your tart shell to form the crust.
  3. Let it chill in the fridge while we move on to the chocolate.
  4. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and douse it with cream. Microwave this combo for 2 minutes.
  5. After a 5-minute breather, it's time for the star ingredient: tsp of salt !
  6. Whisk it all together until you get a silky, spicy, chocolatey blend.
  7. Here is where you choose your own adventure.  Add in your choice of optional extras.
  8. Pour this onto your tart shell and let it chill again until it sets to perfection.
  9. Before serving, let it sit out of the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream for an extra treat, and voila! A sumptuous dessert that you whipped up with just 5 ingredients! Enjoy this beautiful blend of flavours, and remember to share your creations with me!
