Ingredients

  • puff pastry sheets
  • 1 can apples drained
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method

  1. Mix the drained apples, cinnamon, and sugar in a bowl – smells amazing already!
  2. Cut your puff pastry into squares. Stack two squares on top of each other for extra flakiness.
  3. Lay the pastry down like a diamond and spoon the apple mix right down the middle.
  4. Fold the two outer corners into the centre so they just touch. Press gently to seal.
  5. Brush the top with whisked egg for that golden, bakery-style shine ✨.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for around 20 minutes or until they’re puffed up and golden.
  7. As soon as they come out of the oven, brush with warm honey for that irresistible sticky glaze.
  8. Let them cool (if you can wait!) and dig in.
