Method
- Mix butter, icing sugar, flour, and almond meal in a bowl until smooth.
- Slice each croissant in half.
- Spread the almond mix generously onto the bottom half of each croissant.
- Pop the top half back on and spread more almond mix on top.
- Sprinkle flaked almonds over the top so they stick to the almond mix.
- Place your croissants on a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes, or until golden and smelling amazing.
- Once cooled slightly, dust with icing sugar for that bakery-perfect finish.
